Terms of Service

This is a working draft of our Terms of Service and should be reviewed by qualified legal counsel before being relied on as a binding production agreement.

1. Using the platform

DabbuVote provides voting infrastructure for organisers to run competitions, awards, polls, and formal elections. By using the platform to vote or to organise an event, you agree to these terms.

2. Voting

Votes are recorded once a payment (where required) is confirmed by our payment provider, or immediately for free voting. Votes are final once recorded and are not reversible except through an administrator-approved refund in cases of genuine payment error.

3. Organiser responsibilities

Event organisers are responsible for the accuracy of event information, candidate details, and voting rules they configure. DabbuVote reviews and approves events before they go live but does not verify every factual claim an organiser makes about their event.

4. Formal elections

For formal one-person-one-vote elections, eligibility and voter registration are managed by the organising institution. DabbuVote enforces one vote per registered eligible voter and maintains the secrecy of individual ballot selections.

5. Fees

Voting fees, where applicable, are set by the platform default or overridden by the event organiser within platform-permitted limits, and are clearly displayed before payment.

6. Prohibited conduct

You may not attempt to manipulate vote counts, use automated tools to cast votes, interfere with another voter's ability to vote, or attempt to access data you are not authorized to see.
