What we collect

For public voting, we collect the phone number or email you provide to process payment and confirm your vote. We do not require an account for public voting. For formal elections, your organising institution provides your registration details (name, ID number, and similar) to establish voter eligibility.

How we use it

Voter contact details are used only to process payment, confirm votes, and — where you've opted in — notify you of relevant updates. We do not sell voter data.

Secret ballot commitment

For formal elections, your identity and your specific ballot selections are never linked in any report, export, or record accessible to election staff, organisers, or platform administrators. The system can confirm that a registered voter has voted without exposing who they voted for.

Payment data

We never see or store your full card number, mobile money PIN, or other payment credentials — these are handled directly by our payment providers. We store only the transaction reference and amount.

Data retention

Vote and financial records are retained indefinitely to preserve the auditability of election and payment outcomes. You can request deletion of personal contact information (not vote records themselves) by contacting us.
